Guesthouse with hosts and breakfast
A room with breakfast, just for you
The whole Chalet, just for your group
You rent a room, not the whole house.
In the morning I cook you breakfast before you come downstairs, and the rest of the day is yours to shape: a trail or a blanket on the terrace, whatever you feel like.
You take the whole Chalet just for your crew:
no strangers next door, a campfire, evenings together, and me on site to work out the details your way. A team retreat, a family reunion, or simply the urge to be together, away from the world.
morning - breakfast
Rano najpierw usłyszysz ptaki. A potem mnie w kuchni.

In the morning you'll hear the birds first. Then me in the kitchen.
You'll hear me before you see me. I move quietly around the kitchen so I don't wake anyone still sleeping. By the time you come downstairs, breakfast will be ready for you
And for breakfast: eggs, something warm, fresh bread. And coffee that somehow tastes different up in the mountains :)
Before heading out on the trail, you can brew coffee or tea for a thermos. A kettle and everything you need is available in the kitchenette.

late morning - activity
The adventure starts right outside the Chalet's door.
Some head out at nine with trekking poles and are back before lunch. Others take a bike. Others ask me where to find mushrooms and never come back empty-handed. Everyone finds something here. If you don't have a plan, just tell me. I know this area inside out and I know what to recommend, and what to skip.
My tip for anyone without the energy for a big trail today: go up Cieślar hill. It's a short walk, but the views are impressive. If you've got half a day and want something different, Filipka on the Czech side is a great choice. It's a legendary spot, they make great langos, and the atmosphere is hard to describe. I say that with confidence, I go there myself regularly.
.
You don't need a plan. You can step outside and just start walking. The forest begins immediately. Or stay with a blanket on the terrace and watch the clouds move over the Beskids. That's activity too.
What you can do after breakfast:
there's more nearby than you'd think
The center of Wisła is a fifteen-minute drive away. There you'll find an aquapark, an observation tower, restaurants, and a promenade. If you want a bit of resort life between days of quiet, it's the perfect solution.
Skolnity Observation Tower
While you're here, check out the observation tower on Skolnity. It's new in Wisła and genuinely worth it. My guests get a discount on tickets: instead of 125 PLN, you pay 79 PLN. It's one of many reasons it pays off to book directly with me.

Małysz Ski Jump in Wisła
The Adam Małysz ski jump is a Wisła icon. Since you're already so close, it's worth seeing up close. It's impressive even if ski jumping isn't your thing.
The open-air pool in Wisła is a good idea for a hot afternoon, when the trail doesn't appeal and the lounger by the Chalet has already gotten a bit boring.
Outdoor pool in Wisła

Soszów Mountain Hut:
Schronisko Soszów is a classic that never disappoints. Once you're there, order the goulash with Silesian dumplings. I know what I'm talking about :)
Karczma na Polanie:
Karczma na Polanie by the upper station has a different vibe. Here I recommend the grilled trout: fresh, well made, and it tastes twice as good with a mountain view.
Zagroda Lepiarzówka:
Lepiarzówka at the top is my favorite of the three, and not just because it's the highest up. Order the spinach pierogi. Don't ask, just order and enjoy.
time for lunch
Lunch? You've got a few options. They're all equally good.
Where you can eat lunch:
Iga & Maciek - we are the Chalet

Maciek handles everything you don't see day to day, and that's exactly why everything here works. I handle what you do see: breakfast, conversation, and asking if you need anything. We've been doing this together for years. We know what we're doing.

afternoon - siesta
Here nobody asks if you've been sightseeing yet.

A blanket. A lounger. Sun on your face. A beer if you feel like it. Board games if there are more of you. A puzzle if you're on your own. No guilt whatsoever. Here, that's allowed :)
What you can do:
six rooms, and no two are the same
Every room has its own character and its own view. Some look out onto the forest wall: you fall asleep to the sound of trees and wake up with the birds. Others have a window facing the mountains, and on a clear day you can see the peaks of the Tatras. Tell me what you're looking for, and I'll tell you which room is yours.
Room for 3-5 people

Our biggest and brightest room. Mountain view. On a clear day you can see the peaks right from the bed. Comfortably fits four, five if needed. Yellow pillows, bee motifs in the decor, and plenty of space. If you like room to move around, this room is for you.

Room for 2-4 people
A cozy room for two, three, or even four people. Two separate beds and a sofa bed. And overhead, a night sky map: a real one, with constellations that glow once you switch off the lamp. You fall asleep looking at the stars and wake up to a mountain view.
The smallest of our rooms, but that doesn't mean the least. A view of the yard or the forest. Quiet, green, away from everything. If you're looking for a place to truly switch off, this is it. Perfect for a couple or a family with a small child.
Room for 2-3 people
evening - togetherness
The best conversations happen by the campfire, after dark.

A campfire, stars, conversations that run late. That's what a perfect evening at Chata Pod Jaworem looks like.
And if you want to celebrate a birthday, organize a team retreat, or simply have the whole place just for your crew, ask me about renting the whole Chalet. We work out everything individually.
Want the whole Chalet just for your group?
night - recharge
Here the night is truly dark. And truly quiet.

We're almost at the top of the mountain. No cars outside your window, no streetlights, no city noise keeping you up. The darkness here is real: the kind where you see only the stars. The silence here is real: the kind where you hear your own breathing. Do you remember the last time you slept like that?
Here even the cats sleep at night.

Pozdrawiamy Was i do zobaczenia, Tomasz z Rodziną:) - Tomasz Kozak

Reset, piękne widoki i wspaniałe podejście do gości w gratisie!
PS. Zamów śniadanie, a będzie Pan zadowolony!" - Anita Basiaga

not everyone makes it here, but you will :)
Honestly, the road up to us isn't for the faint of heart. Steep, rocky in places, and GPS might let you down near the end. Call me when you're close and I'll guide you through the last stretch. Seriously, I do it all the time and I don't mind at all.
